With your shipment, you will need a standard bill of lading and commercial invoice with a description and valuation of your goods. Puerto Rico does prohibit the import of certain items, such as explosives, narcotics, and plants. You are also not permitted to bring livestock, endangered animals, or lottery tickets. Restricted items include medications, alcohol, or firearms, for which there may be limited exceptions. Contact your local customs officials to advise on your situation.
