How much does it cost to transport?
There's no direct answer to this question because it's not possible to calculate the total cost of transporting without knowing details about your cargo.
As you can see, a variety of factors determine the cost of hauling, like the dimension and weight of your cargo, distance, and method of transportation.
Basically, if you ship big and heavy items, your shifting cost will increase. The same concept applies to its destination. If your container would have a long-distance trip, then you will pay more for the relocating fee.
In addition to that, the time of when you will transport your container will also affect its overall cost.
Even the hauling industry has its peak season. Summer and the days before and after the Chinese New Year are the busiest periods in the entire industry. During these months, transporting costs will be higher than usual.
In Kyrgyzstan, the ports are often busy from July to August. Expect some delays or increases in the shifting rates if you ship your cargo within these months.
Here are other factors that might affect your relocating cost:
- Insurance
- Packing
- Taxes and Custom fees
- Inspections
- General Rate Increase
- Storage

Which Size of Container Works Best for Me?
For residential and business shipments, a 20ft or 40ft container is the ideal choice.
A 20ft has enough room to store 10 pallets. The 40ft variant will of course double that capacity. However, it doesn't mean that you will pay twice for its size.
The cost of using a 40ft will depend on your chosen type of transportation and method of transporting.
Different Types of Freight Transportation
You can transport your container through land, air, or sea freight. But since Kyrgyzstan is on the other side of the world, your only option is through air or sea transport.
Air freight is a good option to transfer your belongings to another country because it's fast and pretty straightforward. However, this type of transportation is quite expensive. You would also pay extra if your cargo exceeds the weight limit.
If you want to save money from hauling, pick sea freight instead. Your cargo might arrive at its destination a week or two in this type of freight transportation. Though slow, it's the most economical option because more often than not, they will charge you based on the distance and size of your cargo.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your container's contents dictate how much unloading space you'll need.
The usable capacity of a 20-foot cargo is 25-28cbm. This is the equivalent of 10 or 11 standard pallets of storage space. You'll need a location that can hold 10 pallets if you're planning to unload a full cargo container.
Even though most of this documentation is needed, some are conditional on the item being transported or the origin and destination locations.

Before shipping a container to Kyrgyzstan, double-check that you have all of the required papers. Contact our customer service department to find out what papers you'll need to get started shipping your goods.
The internet or a GPS tracking device may all be used to track a container. Container tracking systems, on the other hand, are now available from a number of firms and freight forwarders. Clients may use these technologies to maintain track of their cargo's current location at all times.
Clients are also constantly informed about the status of their goods through the use of a freight monitoring system. Your cargo container's whereabouts may be tracked online, or you can be alerted via phone or email.
A container in an FCL shipment transports items from a single shipper to a single receiver, and it remains unaltered once loaded at the origin port and transported to the final destination. If there is no direct service from point to point, it may be re-handled at a different port.
In LCL (or Groupage) cargo, however, a shipping company or groupage operator may mix items from many importers and receivers into a single container that will be carried to multiple places.
A bill of lading is a legal document that specifies the nature, quantity, and endpoint of cargo being carried between the shipper and the carrier.
The bill of lading also serves as a shipment receipt when the products are delivered to the specified destination. This paperwork, irrespective of the mode of transport, must be signed by an authorized agent from the carrier, shipper, and receiver.
A Bill of Lading is required for all shipments. Transporting freight from point A to point B necessitates the use of a Bill of Lading (BoL). They're legally enforceable documents that serve as proof of ownership of the items being transported.
A lost bill of lading can be a serious problem since it might prevent your container from reaching its destination.
If your BoL is misplaced, you should contact your shipping company to get a new one made. The shipping company may request some of the following paperwork:
● A written statement of loss;
● Packing list;
● Cargo commercial invoice;
● Letter of Credit – copy (when payment was made by Letter of Credit);
● Shipper’s approval;
● Letter of indemnity, LOI drew up by the shipper;
● Letter of indemnity, LOI drew up by the recipient;
● Bank guarantee;
● Formal request: release without BoL or Issuance of New Set BoL
Water-resistant shipping containers are common. They can resist the effects of rain and other inclement conditions.
A container that has been designed to repel water is known as a waterproof container. There will be no effect if rain falls on the outside of a waterproof container. However, the contents of a waterproof container will be damaged if rain gets into it.
Watertight containers are also available. Containers that are watertight are made from materials that do not let water flow through. Because they can keep water out, watertight containers may be used to carry liquids.
Most cargo containers have vents. They're made to allow for airflow while also keeping moisture build-up. On the sidewalls of shipping containers, at the top of the container wall, vents are frequently placed.
A 20-foot container will have two to ten vents, whereas a 40-foot container will have four to twelve. Most of these vents are mesh-covered and only 1 inch (2.5cm) square.
Customs clearance usually takes less than 24 hours. If some of the documentation is missing, it may take a few days for your cargo to pass customs.
The commercial invoice, packing slip, and shipping label are the most important documents for customs clearance. Be sure to prepare these documents before you pack your items into the container.
